Speaking without words; ceaseless talking with hands,
arms, legs, toes and eyebrows; moving to music. Suddenly
all stops when a special sound is heard. Having something
important to say without raising your voice is to understand
that you certainly have to look and listen hard. Mime-play
for actors, video pictures on a screen, classical music
and different sounds come together in one single tale.

| There he is, the old man, they
call The Nutcracker. Does he live in the wood? Does he work
there? Or is he only passing through gathering nuts? It is
Autumn. The wood and it's inhabitants are worried. The Nutcracker
is keeping all the nuts for himself.... Until something important
happens to him. Nature saves him. Winter comes,then Spring
and Summer. A new Autumn dawns. The Nutcracker has changed.
He has decided not to be selfish any longer. He gives his
hoard of nuts back to the wood. |
